Yazmin Ortiz is a Puerto Rican actor, director, writer and producer.
Started her career at age 5 as a singer/dancer in her native San Juan and became a UCLA and LACC graduate.
Ortiz was the first Puerto Rican director to be selected by the Berlin Film Festival to attend their prestigious Talent Campus. She was received a Women In Film's Lucy Award scholarship.
Wrote, directed, produced, shot and edited her 15 short films (often following the Dogma '95 movement style).
