[edit] Amok art
I see you have released some of Amok's art under GFDL. Could you join the discussion at User talk:Unak78? Arbor 11:53, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
- Could you please reply? I see that you have begun uploading and using other Amok pictures. Please provide a reference and/or join the discussion. Arbor 15:02, 18 August 2006 (UTC)
Hi. Do you have any basis for labelling the Aegon I image GFDL? Amok is not the copyright holder on that image (he painted it for Fantasy Flight Games, and they own it), so even if he has licensed the portraits he owns he hasn't licensed this one. You'd need permission from FFG for that, and I don't believe they'd give it. Brendan Moody 23:18, 18 August 2006 (UTC)
- Yayauc90, please respond. You have made more than 50 edits since I put this message on your talk page. Arbor 11:12, 19 August 2006 (UTC)
- Yayauc, I see that you are now removing our IFD-tags from Amok's images. Please respond to our queries: has Amok released these images under GFDL or not? If so, please give us a verifiable reference for that. Arbor 10:28, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Aegon.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Aegon.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 08:38, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
- Have you re-uploaded that, Yayauc90? After we took the trouble of removing it? That's copyrighted material. You are violating a law (not only Wikipedia policy). Please stop doing this. Your behaviour is sure to get you banned. Arbor 07:20, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Aegon Article
Yayauc90, It seems you have restored the old Aegon article from a redirect. The general consensus was a redirect/merge and I was wondering if some new material or reason had arisen to warrant this revision. Please drop me a line here, on the ASOIAF project page or on my user talk section. Thanks! NeoFreak 07:14, 28 August 2006 (UTC)

- I'm sorry to hear you are unwilling to engage any of the other editors in any kind of dialouge. If you don't change your mind I'm afraid the myself and the others are going to have to request an offical mediation or arbitration in order to solve this problem. I would much rather it didn't have to go down like that though so I implore you to engage in some discussion with the others. NeoFreak 11:01, 28 August 2006 (UTC)

- I'm sorry for all the trouble I caused you guys. I'll not revert back anymore. Yayauc90 09:30, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
- No problem. WP can be a very bumpy ride for new editors. You are highly motivated and have a lot of good information, I hope we can find some common ground for collaboration and keep you valuable contributions. Arbor 09:54, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
- I too am very excited to have you still onboard with the ASOIAF pages. I can;t wait to see what other edits you can bring to the table. Best wishes. NeoFreak 23:51, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Tirmcdohl05.gif)
Thanks for uploading Image:Tirmcdohl05.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. [edit] Image:Windy04.gif
I have tagged Image:Windy04.gif as {{orphaned fairuse}}. In order for the image to be kept at Wikipedia, it must be included in at least one article. If this image is being used as a link target instead of displayed inline, please add {{not orphan}} to the image description page to prevent it being accidentally marked as orphaned again. [edit] Speedy deletion of Template:King of the Seven Kingdoms
A tag has been placed on Template:King of the Seven Kingdoms requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a deprecated or orphaned template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.
If the template is intended to be substituted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page indicating that it is substituted so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{tranclusionless}}</noinclude>).

[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Windy01.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:Windy01.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 03:11, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
