Yawgoo Valley is the only skiing resort in the U.S. state of Rhode Island. It is located on a hill in Exeter, Rhode Island, south of Providence.
As one of the southernmost ski areas in New England, Yawgoo relies heavily on artificial snowmaking. Lift tickets range from $28 on weekdays to $38 on weekends.
[edit] Trails
In addition to 13 skiing trails served by two chairlifts, Yawgoo offers snow tubing in the winter and, in the summer, a par-3 pitch-and-putt golf course, a 32-foot rock wall and a water park with 750 feet of water slides.
Although Yawgoo's trails lack the vertical drop of larger resorts', the park's fans say it is a diverse park, with freestyle areas and a forgiving terrain to practice new skills.
