Yash is a Hindi (यश) and Sanskrit (यश्) word that means splendour, grandeur, magnificence, prominence, illustriousness, majesty, distinction, luxury, renown, eminence or fame.
It is a popular first name among Hindus, specially among speakers of Hindi, Gujrati and Marathi languages or their dialects.
