Yashas Ballal [1] , hails from karkala, a small town in state of karnataka. He has graduated in electronics & communication from sri jayachamarajendra college of engineering, mysore. He is currently working as software engineer at a semiconductor company. His areas of interest are wireless technologies especially mobile protocols. He was worked extensively on network elements like SMSC and mobile protocol stacks like GSM,GPRS and UMTS development.
