Yarraman is a town in Queensland, Australia. The town is located 181 kilometres (112 mi) kilometres northwest of the state capital, Brisbane on the junction of the New England and D'Aguilar highways. At the 2006 census, Yarraman had a population of 945.[1]
It is set in a fertile valley and produces timber, grain and beef and dairy goods, to which it exports to larger cities.[citation needed] The town is also home to Wild Horse FM 99.7, Yarraman's own community radio.
