Yarm Methodist Church is a Methodist church in the town of Yarm in the borough of Stockton-on-Tees. It is of an unusual design, being octagonal in shape. Built in 1763, John Wesley declared it to be his favourite chapel and was a regular preacher there.[citation needed] Administratively, the church is part of the Stockton Circuit in the Darlington district. The current minister is the Revd Richard Bielby. …… The Church has an established Youth Club for kids 9-18, which meets on a Thursday evening. A variety of other groups meet during the week including a mother's & toddlers group on Wednesday mornings 9.30-11.30.
