Do you think this article could stand some deobfuscation?

Five separate topics are discussed here:

  • Yamato (period)
  • Yamato (prefecture)
  • Yamato (Saga)
  • Yamato (Yamanashi)
  • Yamato (Kanagawa)

The battleship Yamato is in a separate topic already.

Wikipedia will have the following articles in future other than the old province and the battleship.

  • Yamato period
  • Yamato, Gifu
  • Yamato, Fukuoka
  • Yamato, Hiroshima
  • Yamato, Ibaraki
  • Yamato, Kagoshima
  • Yamato, Kanagawa
  • Yamato, Miyagi
  • Yamato, Niigata
  • Yamato, Saga
  • Yamato, Shimane
  • Yamato, Yamaguchi
  • Yamato, Yamanashi

I think the period should immediately be separated from the main article. Since the old province is the primary meaning of Yamato, it would be nice to make "Yamato (disambiguation)".--Nanshu 00:33 9 Jun 2003 (UTC)
