Yakovlev Yak-48

The Yakovlev Yak-48 is a twin-engined regional airliner currently under development by Yakovlev as a supplement for the Yak-42 currently in production. It will carry 30 - 50 passengers and have a maximum range of 2500 - 4800 km (1250 - 3000 miles). Aircraft certification is planned for 2007.
