Yacapaca is a free e-learning platform designed for educators to create, share, set, mark and analyse assessments. It is not a VLE, LMS or CMS, but a pure assessment tool. It has a significant user base with 476,225 registered members (as of Aug 24, 2007). Yacapaca is a web service, not an installable product.
Yacapaca is designed to help educators create online assessments in a variety of formats with as much automation as possible of 'drudge' tasks such as marking and collating responses.
