Talk:Yacht club
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
What constitutes a "well known yacht club"? There are many yacht clubs but what constitutes "well known"?
I removed Wabash Yacht Club, West Lafayette, IN from the Well-Known yacht clubs. This is actually a bar, and is in no way a yacht club.
- Is the well known yacht list relevant? ie Well known to who? If you are a member or live in the vicinity then a particular club is well known to you but not the general readership of the article. The category Yacht Clubs is far more usefull. I recommend that the list in this article is deleted. Boatman 12:46, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
- Again - Recommend this list is deleted as the same content and much more is covered by the category "Yacht Clubs". Boatman 19:52, 26 July 2007 (UTC)

Yacht Sqadron
Is there any difference between a club and a squadron? Is the head of a Squadron more typically styled "Admiral"? Or are all of the differences simply a bunch of words? 154.5.26.224 15:57, 4 November 2007 (UTC)

No problem! I've added our BHYC burgee to the article as an example. Have a nice day. Aloha27 10:15, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
