[edit] Plot
The film is set in a small African village. Bila (Noufou Ouédraogo) is a ten year old boy who makes friends with an old woman called Sana (Fatimata Sanga), who is an outcast. Everybody calls her a witch but Bila calls her "Yaaba" instead, meaning "grandmother". Sana's medicine saves Bila's cousin, Nopoko (Roukietou Barry), when she gets ill.
