Xylogics was an important company to the workstation and mini-computer industry in the 1980's. Many, if not most multibus mini-computer vendors used their SMD and ESMD disk controllers. They were also one of the pioneers in the TCP/IP based terminal server market and had a significant share of the market in the 1980's. I think that they were among the first DEC Unibus(???) compatable perpherial vendors. I would also check and see how many times this page has been deleted in the past.
