I agree completely. I'm flagging the article. I wouldn't be surprised to discover that a lot of this is copied from XTensa marketing literature. 18.26.0.45 (talk) 16:12, 5 December 2007 (UTC)

Specific actionable items:

  • The article uses phrases that are non-objective. Examples: "two essential, unique features", "takes the configurable, extensible processor to the next level".
  • The article makes claims without support: "exceptional computational performance", "Extremely efficient base architecture".

Basically, all the text that reads like an XTensa advertisement needs to be edited/removed. Any claims about performance need to either be substantiated with references to objective benchmarks, or clearly marked as claims.

I too agree that this article needs cleanup a lot and looks more like an advertisement rather than an providing information objectively.

Below points need data and substantiating proof for being more wikipedic:
