[edit] Archiving
Hello. You appear not to be archiving properly. Is there a reason for that? -- zzuuzz (talk) 01:04, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
- Hello. I am new to this. I saw your reverts and cancelled the archiving.--Xserver 885 (talk) 01:07, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Username
Howdy and welcome to Wikipedia! Thanks for your interest in working on some of the nuts and bolts issues (such as archiving). I am a bit worried about your username and user page however. I think some people might confuse your name with a bot, particularly given your userpage. It may be good to head off potential problems (running a bot without approval is against policy) by making a more conventional userpage and perhaps considering a change of usernames. Let me know if you need a hand with either of these or can use more information. Thanks and again welcome! --TeaDrinker (talk) 02:00, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
- NB: "bot" was written as "bit" in the above statement, which I've now corrected.Caissa's DeathAngel (talk) 02:04, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
- The code on my userpage is PostScript for "Hello. If you're reading this, then you know PostScript, meaning you are cool." It's what PDFs and computer printers use. It has nothing to do with programming.--Xserver 885 (talk) 02:25, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
- Ah, I understand. Nevertheless, it may be somewhat confusing given your name. Just a thought to head of trouble down the road. (And thanks for the correction DA.) --TeaDrinker (talk) 05:42, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
