You can help other Wikipedia contributors by using the Preview button instead of the Save button when you are making many changes to an article, such as your edits to Retrobyte. When you are finished and you are satisfied with all of your changes, then use the Save button. This will help future editors in reviewing the edit history when necessary, because making many changes and saving each one clutters up the edit history of an article and makes it difficult for editors to review the history. Thank you. ●DanMS 23:54, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] King Amphoe
I just noticed that you added a comment that all King Amphoe have been upgraded to a full Amphoe this month. Strangely the english newspapers "The Nation" and "Bangkok Post" did not mention about it (yet). Can you give a source for this change with some more details, so the King Amphoe section in the Amphoe article can be expanded and updated. andy
- Please don't create new article for the King Amphoe now upgraded to Amphoe - there is a button "Move" which will make sure the editing history of the article is kept. Is the upgrade to full Amphoe already effective now? Or was it just decided, and will be in effect later this year? Then we should wait to adjust the articles till then. andy 20:06, 25 May 2007 (UTC)

- Sorry, but you misunderstood me. I don't want you to stop updating articles, quite the contrary, we need more Thai people here, so the articles here don't have only the Farang viewpoint, and omit all the information only available in Thai language. I just want the Amphoe articles to be as good and exact as possible, that's why I asked you for more information on this change, especially whether it became be effective on May 15 already, or it was only decided then. There are 81 King Amphoe articles which need to be updated, so it'd be best to do it correct directly, and not having to update them several times. You might have noticed that I tried to add the new facts into the Amphoe article already, but sadly my Thai is not good enough to read the Thai news on this topic.
- The reason why I asked you not to create new articles is explained in more detail in Help:Moving a page - the editing history of an article should be preserved, but by doing a copy-and-paste move it will be lost. As I am an admin with some additional editing features I could fix that already, but it's some additional work. andy 17:00, 29 May 2007 (UTC)

- Thanks for trying to find more information. Maybe it's best to wait to change the King Amphoe articles until they get officially upgraded, and till then put the information of the planned upgrade in the Amphoe article. As you mentioned that many King Amphoe do not qualify, maybe that plan will only get partially implemented, leaving those unqualified King Amphoe unchanged but upgrade the others. andy 19:25, 30 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:533632379 l-1.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:533632379 l-1.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Shell babelfish 06:44, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Speedy deletion of Nakhon Ratchasima Interchange
A tag has been placed on Nakhon Ratchasima Interchange requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you.
[edit] CSD Tags
Hi there, just to let you know that when contesting a speedy deletion you should put the hangon tag below the speedy deletion one, but you should not remove the deletion tag. Don't forget to put your rationale on the discussion page. --Deadly∀ssassin 00:06, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] April 2008
Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from pages that you have created yourself, as you did with Nakhon Ratchasima Interchange. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page (please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag) and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Deadly∀ssassin 00:10, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
