This image has been used on XHLNC-FM on and off and keeps getting removed. Nobody has taken the time to explain precisely why it keeps being removed--essentially everybody who edits the page makes changes with no summaries. To be honest, it seems like there's a low-grade edit-war occurring on that page. But yeah, we should settle first whether or not it can be used on the station's Wikipedia entry before deleting the image. 68.57.116.116 (talk) 22:57, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

- There are about a dozen different reasons that the logo allegedly can't be used here. As I see it, the logo is small, won't harm anybody's sales, can't be replaced, and serves a useful purpose. Honestly, just linking me to the fair use guidelines is about as useful as referring a citizen to Title 26 of the US Code when they're confused about a specific aspect of Federal tax law. Is there anything specific that you, as an experienced contributor, see the image as failing? 68.57.116.116 (talk) 03:37, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
- I was just looking at the last edit summary and one other thing came to mind. It said "provide fair use to keep." Presumably that means that the fair use rationale needs work. Fine, I understand that. My original question still remains, although it might not have been clear. What is it specifically about this image that keeps it from actually being used on XHLNC-FM? The image hasn't been repeatedly deleted. Rather, the code to display it on the article keeps being removed. That part I do not understand at all because it's done by a person who refuses to annotate their edits. 68.57.116.116 (talk) 05:49, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
