Xiaojie
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Aisingioro Xiaojie, official name Kam Hau Kit (Cantonese) or Jin Xiaojie (Mandarin), is the pretender of the throne of the Empire of Manchukuo, allegedly succeeding Puyi on April 10, 2008, or the 100th anniversary of Puyi's accession to the throne of the Manchu Qing Empire. Born in Hong Kong Feb 3, 1987, Kam Hau Kit is a Hong Kong University student specialized in History. He's also a participant of the Manchukuo Restoration Movement. From the Movement's website, there is no specific indication of Xiaojie's place in the Manchu imperial genealogy, thus no proof of his right to succession by traditional Qing succession rules. The current throne of Manchukuo, is supposedly held by the eldest member of the line of Zaifeng, 2nd Prince Chun, namely, the elderly Jin Youzhi of Beijing. However, it is likely that Jin Youzhi has repudiated his claim to the Manchukuo, and the Manchu thrones. Xiaojie was elected in 2008 by members of his monarchist movement in Hong Kong. Xiaojie's era name is Fuguang (restoration of the glory).
