[edit] Saint's Row Demo
If you want to help comb through these posts and threads, and see what is acceptable as a fact in a wiki article, that would be appreciated. As a lurker, all I've done are grammatical and spelling edits, along with some talk comments. An experienced user should do this really, though, and you've taken an interest in the Saint's Row article. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Fadethebutcher (talk • contribs) 19:17, 15 July 2006 (UTC).
- I'll definitely do some research on the whole Saints Row demo issue and hopefully get enough information to incorporate into the article! ~xenc. 22:03, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Editing of GameSpy
Hi. I'm not entirely sure how you managed to make this rather humorous edit, but I thought it would be worth noting. Please double check all of the changes AutoWikiBrowser suggests before committing them. Thanks! ~xenc. 12:15, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
- I was having trouble with the copy and paste function. Sorry about that. :-| Harryboyles 13:59, 29 July 2006 (UTC)

- Absolutely no problem, I was pretty sure that the edit was accidental in the first place =) ~xenc. 15:41, 29 July 2006 (UTC)

I tend to assume people don't read those things. Thanks for proving me wrong. Soo 17:45, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] TI YOung dro
I have no idea who these people are, never been on their pages, so don't send messages saying I 'vandalized' them. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 75.4.9.133 (talk • contribs) 07:57, 12 August 2006 (UTC).
- The edits originated from your IP. It could be, however, that you are visiting from behind a shared IP. Registering a Wikipedia account would help avoid any similar problems in the future. ~xenc. 18:54, 12 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image:Ryan Leslie.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Ryan Leslie.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
- On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --Abu Badali 15:30, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Neoseeker-Logo.png)
Thanks for uploading Image:Neoseeker-Logo.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot (talk) 20:16, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Neoseeker
Xenc, also it is probably worth note that there are quite a few articles that cite Neoseeker here on wiki, and that may help the claim for notability. Simply by searching "Neoseeker" it will return many articles, mostly gaming and tech related, that cite Neo as a source. Deathsythe (talk) 07:06, 23 December 2007 (UTC)
- The problem with that is that it's sort of a circular validation. There needs to be solid external verification for the site itself first. ~xenc. 17:55, 24 December 2007 (UTC)
