I noticed that you made a number of changes of North America to Central America on the transcontinental country page, as if Central America were a separate continent, which it is not. It is commonly regarded as a portion of North America and only geopolitically does it exist separately. According to your perception of affairs, should we say that there are eight continents? I think not, don't think that this justifies a revamping of the page, am not going to stand for it, and have reverted your changes. Feel free to discuss your point of view on the discussion page, but please respect the view of most readers that Central America, except possibly for eastern Panama and the southernmost Caribbean islands, is a part of North America. In a geopolitical sense, Mexico is also frequently considered part of Central America, since it is more akin to other Central American nations than the United States and Canada. Although geopolitical considerations may be discussed, only geographic considerations may be used to define continents on the transcontinental country page. Heff01 00:06, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
