Who will be the godparents of Lord Culloden? I would think one of his aunt's (Lady Davina Lewis or Lady Rose Windsor).

The page Xan suggest that it is a shortening of Alexander, which is quite usual in English DBD 14:32, 30 December 2007 (UTC)


I believe Xan is short for AleXANder and his other names Anders is a part of his paternal grandmother's (HRH The Duchess of Gloucester) maiden name, which is van Deurs, hence ANDERS. Obviously, Richard is for his paternal grandfather (HRH The Duke of Gloucester).

Also, Xan is pronounced (ZAN)
