[edit] Memorable Moments

  • The cast bungee jumps over a live volcano.
  • The cast poses nude in a storefront in Chile.
  • Danny freaks out several times after letting his team down. He was the first person voted off and the only cast member not to reach Argentina. Nick replaces him.
  • Danny being voted off started tension between him and Jodi which is more evident in Gauntlet II.
  • Kina is sent home by the luck of the draw. Angela replaces her.
  • Angela confesses to the group on her first day on the show that she used to be a Jehovah's Witness until she was raped in her local "Kingdom Hall" by a fellow Witness, and when she told people about the crime, she was "disfellowshipped" from the Witnesses and was estranged from her family.

  • Angela caused tension towards group performance. Jodi speculated that it was due to Angela's need for attention. When Jillian joins the cast, Angela acts out even more.
  • Patrick and Jillian hook up in the RV.
  • Ironically, Angela's "drama queen" attitude helped her performance positively during the Stunt School mission, which involved the cast into performing live action film stunts.
  • Jillian grew jealous when Mary Beth and Patrick were spending time together. During the face-off boxing match, she was matched with Mary Beth and knocked Mary Beth out.
  • Derrick's drinking problem became a recurring theme throughout the season, which is also shown in the Real World/Road Rules challenges he participates on.

  • The cast found a puppy and named her "X", Patrick is the owner of the dog after the show ended.
