X-kai- is a Japanese shōnen-ai manga by Asami Tohjoh.

Kaito is a florist at day but at night he is a ruthless assassin. There is a murder and he is blamed for it. One day he meets a little boy that lived in the streets and gives him the name Renge after taking him in. He then finds out that Renge has a knife and thinks he was the one that killed the girl. He asks him about it, but Renge doesn't remember who gave it to him. He knows he got it from the police station and turns out that it was a detective that killed the girl.

Kaito
Is a florist at day and at night he is assassin. He takes care of Renge. He has a brother in the hospital and that's why he is an assassin. He really doesn't like being one but if it is for his brother he is. Kaito has lot of secrets.
Renge
Is the little boy that Kaito takes care of. He wants Kaito to quit his job because he thinks he's sad.
Sugaru
She gives the assassination missions to Kaito. She mostly appears only when she gives missions and when Kaito needs her help. At the end of the manga a guy puts a gun on her head to make her tell him where Kaito's brother is.
