[edit] mathematical notation

You seem very good at images and you seem to have uploaded a number of them that constitute a valuable contribution to Wikipedia.

However, "displayed" mathematical notation should not be in that non-editable format. If I write

\int_0^\infty \frac{dx}{x},

that can get edited as needed by Wikipedians who see it later. See Wikipedia:Manual of Style (mathematics). Also, could you take a look at my comments at talk:energy minimization? If you already have the TeX code, you could just paste it into the appropriate places in the article. Michael Hardy (talk) 18:56, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
