Founded in 1961, NewsTalk AM 1270's broadcast area includes the NW corner of metro Atlanta and other areas of northwest Georgia. The station also streams 24/7 at its web site at NewsTalk1270.com.

The format includes Fox News updates at the top of every hour, 24/7, local Weather Channel forecasts updated continually, Fox Sports Radio updates at the top of every hour, news updates from Georgia News Network hourly.

The weekday talk lineup includes a local morning show... The Wakeup Show starring David Paul, 6 to 9 AM. Glenn Beck 9 AM to noon. Bill O'Reilly noon until 2 PM. Dave Ramsey 2 to 5 PM. Gregg Knapp 5 to 6 PM. Michael Reagan 6 to 9 PM. Rusty Humphries 9 PM to midnight. Dateline Washington midnight to 1 AM. Coast to Coast AM with George Noory & Art Bell 1 to 5 AM. Talk Radio Countdown 5 to 6 AM.

The station also broadcasts live high school football each Friday evening in season followed by the Official Statewide High School Football Scoreboard Show.

Weekend programming includes Car & Driver Radio, Road & Track's Speed Radio, Sound & Vision, Startup Nation, The Money Pit, Monica Crowley, Ben Ferguson, and other shows.
