Wynnum West is an outer suburb of Brisbane, Australia located 16 km east of the CBD. Originally part of surrounding suburbs, Wynnum West was gazetted in 1975 as a separate suburb.
The Wynnum Plaza, the major shopping centre within the bayside area, is in Wynnum West. It also contains the fabled Wynnum West tavern, a place where all types can congregate and get blitzed while having a twoer on the TAB.
