[edit] Programming

Shows include: The Johnny & Jayde Morning Show which is aired between 5am and 10am, it is fronted by long time XL DJ Johnny Magic who has been waking up Orlando for many years, and still manages to hold good listening figures. The daytime show is on-air from 10am until 4pm and is presented by Jana. The 4pm till 7pm afternoon slot is currently presented by Stick on the Radio followed by Jayde's All Access and Stick returns to host 8-11pm. The station also carries Ryan Seacrest's American Top 40 each weekend.

In the 1990s, WXXL carried a Sunday night show called Alternative Static which aired modern/alternative rock from 7pm-Midnight on Saturday Night. This occurred because the Orlando market at the time did not have a full-time modern/alternative rock station. Hosted by "Surfer Dave", Alternative Static was notable because due to the off-peak air time (and, presumably, low listenership)in fact the program had excellent ratings numbers for a Sunday night broadcast.
