Spike, The source you gave stating that it wasn't on the line wasn't an actual link. And the source I gave [2] says that it was on the line. Lex94 22:45, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

I suspect that the author of that column is mistaken because that is the first time I have ever heard anybody say that the title was on the line. The link I provided is from a site where a guy goes back and reviews old WWF PPV's using VHS tapes and DVDs of the events. From the link I provided ([3]): "Dok Hendrix interviews Shawn Michaels and he brings the funny by sarcastically expressing relief that his newly won European title isn’t on the line in this match.". WWE doesn't mention the title in their feature on Michaels overcoming the odds [4], prowrestlinghistory.com doesn't mention the title in their results for the show [5], even OWW doesn't mention the title in their results section: [6].
