Wuthering Heights (1954) is a film directed by Luis Buñuel. In 1931, Buñuel and Pierre Unik had written a screenplay based on the Emily Brontë novel of the same name but were never able to get financing. The 1954 film was produced by Óscar Dancigers and costarred Irasema Dilián and Jorge Mistral as the Cathy and Heathcliff characters. The film is also known by the titles Abismos de pasión and Cumbres Borrascosas.
