Description

Wuhan's modern television antenna tower stands well beyond Turtle Hill and its temple.

Taken September 22, 2002 from the riverboat cruise ship M.V. Splendid China while waiting at Wuhan to begin a cruise up the Yangtze River (Chang Jiang) through the Three Gorges to the metropolis of Chongqing.

To the photographer User:Leonard G., this image is emblematic of modern China and is one of his favorites from a 2002 tour.
