WTNR Radio, (We Take No Requests Radio) is an Internet radio station launched in April 2006. The website uses a proprietary time synchronization method to accomplish a 24/7 time-zone independent broadcast. The station offers live or prerecorded broadcast streams from international DJs from across the world.
We Take No Requests Radio came out of the concepts that DJs should be able to present the musical material they want to spin, as an artform, as opposed to taking requests and pleasing specific demographics. Due to this, the station's roster of music spans from Trance, Electronica,Rock and Acid Jazz to Metal, Hip Hop, Pop and World music.
The Internet station also hosts events in multiple cities (New York, DC, London, Berlin, Tokyo) year round, representing a mashup of musical genres played by the diverse featured DJs.
Included in We Take No Requests Radio's web content is the "Worldtime News Report", providing original and syndicated articles and stories of interest.
