This is an alternative partial wiring for Image:WPEVCContactorCharge.png. Where that diagram is suitable for externally controlled charging stations (for example, and Avcon connector), this modification allows control of start and stop functions at the on-board charger. Note that this will not restart after a power failure, which may be a disadvantage in some locations, especially for night charging. Use of an appropriate toggle switch and wiring in place of the start and stop buttons will allow automatic restart upon power recovery when charging is turned on.
Fuse connection F-CRP may be made where convenient along the power line. At the control relay may be more appropriate.
