World of Wishes is a children's book series, written by Carol Barton. The series revolves around a young girl named Madeleine "Maddie" O'Neill, who discovers the land of Zavania, a land where wishes come true. But wishes don't just happen; they have to be granted by somebody. Usually, two books are released per year.

Madeleine "Maddie" O'Neill-The main star of this series. She is often teased by Jessica Coatsworth, but she has a friend, Lucy. She has red hair, freckles, & she did have braces, until Fairy Wishes, when Isabella the Fairy magically straightened her teeth. She is constantly worried that she won't be needed in Zavania anymore when Sebastian is promoted.
Sebastian, Apprentice/Junior WishMaster-He was an apprentice WishMaster until Ballerina Wishes, when he was made a junior. He comes to collect Maddie when a wish has been made.
Zak the Raven-He is the sidekick of Sebastian, apprntice/junior WishMaster
