World Youth Games

World Youth Games is an international competition among young athletes. Games were held under the patronage of the International Olympic Committee. The first and only games were held in Moscow, Russia in 1998 [1]. The main objective of the Games - the Olympic Movement involvement in youth sports, its preparations for the complex psychological conditions of the international launch, the selection of young talents to participate in future Olympic Games. In the history of the modern Olympic movement has not yet been similar competitions. Since 2004, World Youth Games are held regularly, one year before the Olympic Games.
