World Golf Index
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The World Golf Index is a multi Tour performance index that ranks the performance of professional golfers from major professional golf tours. A professional golfer must achieve a top 10 finish in a qualifying official event to be included in the index. As of 2008, tournament events included on the "official tour schedule" of the PGA Tour, LPGA Tour, PGA European Tour, and Champions Tour, are considered qualifying events for the World Golf Index.
