Re Image:Scopecrowd.gif, if you can have the person who gave you permission email "permissions AT wikimedia DOT org" (replacing at and dot with @ and .) saying that they release the image under GFDL it would be great. Once they have done that, you can add a blurb to Wikipedia:Successful requests for permission saying that the email has been sent and you can update the license on the image page. Cheers!
