[edit] Proposal to move

I am proposing to move this text to World-systems theory, and rename the latter World-system analysis as has been suggested by other users. I would then proceed with some editing and addition to this valuable article. Additions may include quotes from Giovanni Arrighi, notably from [1], and [2]. I propose also to link this article to some context such as Polanyi's[3], Schurmann's[4], Thomas J. McCormick's[5], and also David Harvey. --Henri 19:02, 4 December 2007 (UTC)

Makes sense to me. I don't see why we should have two separate articles on what is, quite clearly, the same topic. Terraxos (talk) 22:18, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
I also agree. Just make the merge. -- Mdd (talk) 21:37, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
