  • I would consider merging the Word and Void articles with the Shannara articles, but perhaps we should wait until the new trilogy is finished so we have a sense of how the stories fit together. I love this trilogy, and thank you to anyone else who wants to help me edit these pages. Sraan 00:35, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
  • Also, if there aren't any objections I will change the title of this page to "The Word/Void Series" which is the title used most commonly on terrybrooks.net. I think this looks better than "The Word & the Void" anyway. Sraan 00:35, 13 July 2006 (UTC).

[edit] Intent?

Do we know if the Word/Void was originally intended to be a part of the Shannara continuity? Various references within The Voyage of the Jerle Shannara and Armageddon's Children) make it clear that they are in the same continuity, but both were published after the Word/Void series. --Tim4christ17 talk 00:40, 15 July 2007 (UTC)

Terry Brooks didn't originally have a set idea of whether they were part of the same continuity or not, but there were always common elements. -- Noneofyourbusiness (talk) 06:34, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
