Talk:WordWorld
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hello. See that Word World from PBS KIDS needs a page but I need help making it. If anyone can do it, that'll be great. (70.107.142.109 22:02, 10 August 2007 (UTC))
[edit] Questions
Is there a more technical term than "comprised of the letters that spell them"? Also, I think I once saw a mobile phone ad on UK TV where everything was just the words that spelt them e.g.: a taxi was literally just the words "TAXI" standing in 3D in the middle of the street. --85.92.162.87 22:12, 20 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Upcoming episodes
There's a way to know what episodes are coming up. If you have a DVR, like TiVO or something, you can move several hours ahead and check out the names of the episodes. Tomorrow, two segments, "Robots to the Rescue!" and "Radio Read-a-Thon," are expected to air. They sound like decent names for episodes, don't they? See the description on the DVR for yourself, it never lies when it displays PBS show descriptions. --Secret C (talk) 18:48, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
- Actually, those have already aired (late Feb?) and yes, they are real titles of real episodes. However, given the error rate I've encountered with my Comcast DVR's descriptions and scheduling, I'll respectfully disagree with the "it never lies" comment above. I would be EXTREEEEEMELY hesitant before attempting to use anything Comcast said as "verifiable" sources. Also, if the episode hasn't aired and isn't listed in a reliable source, we can't add it--WP:VER is clear on that.Gladys J Cortez 19:07, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
