Why is Bangladesh painted in the darkest colour (1000>) when the list of all countries' population densities claims it has a density of 985 ppl/km2? - Gothenburg, 18:08, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

ROYGBIV might be a good start. Having five shades of violet is not a good idea for a map. Ayengar 14:47, 9 May 2007 (UTC)

They should treat Alaska as a seperate region, it is in no way connected to the US "mainland" and I'm sure it is less densely populated than the rest of the US. Mallerd 17:35, 3 September 2007 (UTC)

I think the map is ok, but it would be much more informative to have different regions in shades, and major cities, though probably this is not easy. For example, in the US, NY is densely populated, some Alabama county may not be. I am in Barcelona, Spain, which is full of people and I am surprised to see relatively low population density.
