[edit] What exactly is Wolfram & Hart?
Basically it is a fictional, evil, and analogues the world famous [[Gibson Dunn & Crutcher, LLP#REDIRECT [[1]] ]] founded in Los Angeles in 1890 and has eery & striking similarity. As to the building....It is the main buliding on Wilshire Blvd, of Spelling Entertainment. If any of you remember Melrose Place (an Aaron Spelling Production) that was where the main D & D Advertising Agency.
"The richest and most powerful corporation in the world" -- source? They are certainly very rich and powerful, but I don't recall them being described as the *most* rich or *most* powerful
[edit] What exactly is Wolfram & Hart?
Until Season 5, the Earthly incarnation of Wolfram & Hart is always deemed a law firm. Like most law firms, W&H is a partnership, and thus run by the Senior Partners. However, in the final season, Angel is the "President and CEO" of the company (“Conviction,” Angel 5x01). Only corporations need CEOs or Boards of Directors because they represent the financial interests of the shareholders. In partnerships, the only people who have any financial interests are the partners (both junior and senior). Eve's big "welcome to work" speech emphasizes that W&H is a corporation, and stresses the bottom line (the "catch"), which is definitely the goal of a typical company. In “Just Rewards,” (Angel 5x02) Gunn mentions a client holding a “block of shares” in Wolfram & Hart. This also reinforces the notion that W&H is a corporation… and that’s not a problem. If the producers wanted to retcon W&H into a regular company, that’s fine, but it cannot be both a corporation and a partnership.
This is not merely a nitpick, because it is just one of the many technical problems that plague Season 5. Why is Earth the home office if most of the Senior Partners don't even reside in this dimension (“Reprise,” Angel 2x15)? Furthermore, how important is Angel to the overall schemes of W&H, on a pan-dimensional scale? Most of the W&H baddies repeatedly say that Angel will be a "major player" in the coming apocalypse, but most of these guys were from Special Projects, the LA division designed just to deal with Angel--wouldn't any division feel it was the most important one in an organization as ruthless as W&H? Was every Wolfram & Hart branch in every city and every dimension designed to thwart Angel? To quote “Once More with Feeling” (Buffy 6x07), “Apocalypse, we’ve all been there/The same old trip, why should we care?” Throughout Season 5, the black-hats emphasize their apocalypse because it’s the one they’re currently working on, and the one designed specifically for Team Angel. Shouldn't there be countless other ends of the world designed by different branches in the works at all times?
Angel ran the LA office, but since he was never made partner (in fact, it’s not clear if he made partner even after being admitted to the Circle of the Black Thorn) it’s quite possible that his title of “CEO” was designed to fool Team Angel into thinking they had control over their offices. It was later revealed that Knox had been working several members of the team (with the help of Dr Sparrow, among others), so it’s quite possible that many different W&H departments were taking advantage of Team Angel’s unwitting status as figureheads.--hypercritic 20:06, 13 April 2006 (UTC)
Funny thing just came to me. W&H has ties with News Corp, right? News Corp owns the Fox Broadcasting Company! Doesn't that mean that metafictionally, they own the series they are the primary antgonist of? Little wonder it was canceled! Hey, does anyone know which Building in LA (or elsewhere) was used for the exterior shots of the building? Should this be included? Or have I just missed it in the article? Help plz 09:39, 20 July 2006 (UTC)

I seem to remember one of the episodes mentioning the meaning of the phrase "the wolf, the ram, and the hart". It was something along the lines of three different representitations of the human race. Does anyone know which one that was?

Why is it Wolfram and Hart? Shouldn't it be Wolfram & Hart - you know, with the ampersand? That's the way it's written outside of the lawfirm's building, and it's right there in the image. Anyone opposed to a move? --Bacteria 14:39, 2 July 2007 (UTC)

I've completed my extensive work on the article, and referenced it pretty thoroughly. As such, I've taken down the template. Sadly, I've replaced it with the in-universe template, as all that's there right now is a (well-written, I must say) in-universe perspective. In 2007, after being double crossed by Angel, the firm sends the L.A. branch (along with L.A. in its entirety) to a Hell dimension.
