Wolf Lake is a wonderful small town , for someone who is about to retire and want to go somewhere in this world that is not commercialized : a small gas station , a VFW 1 cafe ,and a church. big lake....great walleye there, Im 26 but when I am able to retire that is heaven on earth for relaxation and friendly people that wave to you when you drive by them.(if you go into town other wise you might not run into any one at all)I love that small town. Old fashion a little .

I grew up several miles away from Wolf Lake, it truly is a beautiful location, with some great scenery. Very deep family ties, and a strong sense of community. Its small, but it has heart where it counts, and is definitely recommended to visit if someone is looking for a quiet getaway for a weekend.
