WOHZ-CA is a Class-A television station located in Mansfield, Ohio. The station is owned by Mid-State Television, Inc. headed by Gunther Meisse, who also owns television station WMFD-TV channel 68, and radio stations WVNO-FM 106.1 and WRGM (AM) 1440. WOHZ-CA was founded in 1989 as W50BE, but gained the call-sign of WOHZ-LP in late 1995, before being upgraded to a Class A station.
The station broadcasts from the same tower as WMFD-TV 68, and while it is on channel 50, other sources list the station on channel 41[1] [2] or even channel 57[3].
