Classical South Florida—89.7 FM, WKCP—began broadcasting in South Florida in October 2007. Classical South Florida is a nonprofit public radio station dedicated to classical music and includes broadcasts of nationally renowned classical programs such as Performance Today, SymphonyCast, Pipedreams and Saint Paul Sunday. Classical South Florida is also broadcasting from a translator in West Palm Beach at 101.9 FM.

Classical South Florida is a listener-supported organization owned and operated by American Public Media Group (APMG).[1]

89.7 FM was formally WMCU owned by Trinity University which was a Christian radio station.
