Wittenburg is a town in the district Ludwigslust in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Germany. Population 5570, area 46.25 km². Wittenburg should not be confused with the much bigger Wittenberg.
Wittenburg has been the seat of the Amt of Wittenburg since 2004-01-01. It is in the west of Mecklenburg-Vorpommerns and lies on the little river Motel. The areas Helm, Klein Wolde, Wölzow and Ziggelmark are part of Wittenburg.
