WITH AM 1230, was an AM station broadcasting from Baltimore, Maryland since the 1920's. It featured many radio music shows, most famous for "The Buddy Deane Show" with Buddy Deane, that also went to television in the 1950's.
After floundering due to a weak transmitter, and an aging musical lineup, WITH was eventually sold to Salem Communications. WITH went to an all talk format that rivaled WCBM AM 680. With such personalities as William Bennett's "Morning in America", "The Laura Ingraham Show" which was replaced by "The Mike Gallagher Show" in that slot, "The Dennis Prager Show", "The Michael Medved Show", "The Hugh Hewitt Show", and "The Michael Reagan Talk Show".
Salem Communications sold WITH AM to Peter and John Ministries, who also owns WRBS FM 95.1, in July 2006. The talk format, as well the WITH moniker disappeared from the radio airwaves in December, 2006. WRBS now broadcasts from the 1230 AM position on the radio dial. Now 24 hour religious broadcasting can be heard there.
