The Wisconsin Junior Hockey League or WJHL is a new Independent Jr A Hockey League starting for the 2008-2009 season. The WJHL will play 70-game regular season schedule beginning in September 2008. The goal of the league is to "to promote junior age players in Wisconsin and help keep some homegrown talent from leaving the state while also providing them the opportunities to showcase their abilities," according to the league website.
The Wisconsin Junior Hockey League signed a three year equipment sponsorship deal with Fury, Inc. [1].
