Talk:Wise Guys (band)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
On the off chance that people read this: 'Geh dahin, wo der Pfeffer wächst' is a figure of speech (as I recall) that translates to 'jump in the lake', which I think is a more fitting translation than 'where the pepper grows', especially regarding the context of the song by the same name. However, since one thing I'm not is a native German speaker, I'm not going to make the change myself without some comfirmation. SleightOfHand 14:14, 20 July 2007 (UTC)
- 'jump in the lake' seems to be right. and ganz weit vorne i'd translate as 'far ahead' but unsure about that. --83.171.165.22 (talk) 19:20, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
