Talk:Wireless router

[edit] More than a wired one

There are mutliple differences between a router and a wireless router. Configuration of the two devices is much different, and there are specific configuration and troubleshooting steps for wireless routers that differ significantly from other routers.

Furthermore, wireless routers provide bridging capabilities that other types of routers do not. The differences are not trivial. This article is therefore significant and unique. Perspectoff (talk) 17:01, 24 May 2008 (UTC)perspectoff

Very well; this seems a useful article even in its current somewhat rough state. As it happens, I don't know a lot about the topic, particularly the ways in which a wireless router differs from a Wireless access point and from a WAP and wired router combined. Perhaps you would like to expand the article in this direction. Jim.henderson (talk) 00:03, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
