Winston Reedy

Winston Reedy contributed to the musical genre of reggae as a singer. He is best known from the lovers rock hit single, "Dim The Light" (1983), one of the most popular UK lovers rock titles. An alternative to political reggae, lovers rock was the reggae-style most influenced by American soul music. The style dominated the British reggae scene between 1976 and the mid 1980s.

Reed appeared alongside Janet Kay, and others on 31 December 2005, at the 'New Years Eve Gala - Lovers Rock' event at The Banqueting Hall, Station Road, Brixton. [1]
